Eeyore’s 60th Birthday Party

April 26th, 2025 | 11:00am to Dusk

It’s that time of year again—time to embrace your inner Austin weird! Dust off your most creative costumes and join us for one of the city’s most beloved traditions: a funky, community-driven celebration that feels like a city-wide country picnic.

Eeyore’s Birthday is the second longest-running event in Austin, one of the few remaining free festivals in the city, and proudly unsponsored by major corporate interests. All proceeds directly support local non-profits doing meaningful work in our community.

Come experience a truly eclectic day of music, costumes, drum circles, and joyful zaniness—an authentic, affordable celebration that reflects the heart and soul of Austin.

The celebration kicks off at 11:00 a.m. and continues until sunset (approximately 8:30 p.m.) in historic Pease Park. Admission is completely free, and so are parking and shuttle services.
